Today Cockburn SES and surrounding units celebrated national SES week with a breakfast at Cockburn SES. During the breakfast, some of our SES members were awarded by the Queensland Government with a “2010-2011 Queensland Flood and Cyclone Citation” in recognition of their contribution in the aftermath of Cyclone Yasi. SES members received a framed letter of congratulations from Deputy Commissioner Lloyd Bailey AFSM. Amongst the members honoured, were our very own members Drew Devereux and Matt Wall.
